I've been horrible about updating the ol' blog. I blame Facebook games. Yes, I've become addicted. Starfleet Commander in particular. There are two versions of this game available.

The first, Starfleet Commander, is able to be played in diplomacy mode. This means you can't be attacked. While you're in diplomacy mode some of the resources you earn in the game go toward upkeep. The farther along you get in the game, the chunk of resources needed to stay in d mode increases. It's a nice incentive to eventually come out of diplomacy mode.

The second, Starfleet Commander Extreme, doesn't have diplomacy mode. The only thing protecting your world and ships from being attacked is being new to the game. Sadly I hit the not new to the game mark and had to do the ship juggle to avoid being wiped out. It got so ridiculous and took up so much time this weekend that I put my game in vacation mode. I'm still debating if I'll continue with Extreme. It's going to be fun enough when I have to come out of diplomacy mode in Commander. I can't imagine dealing with two games that need so much attention.

Anyway...I attended the Emerald City Comicon two weekends ago. It was a lot of fun. Saturday all of the family went with me. Sunday I was on my own. I saw Stan Lee but didn't spend the money to get his autograph. He's quite the character. I got some comics signed, bought a few comics and my weekend went by way too fast.

This weekend I'm not sure what we have planned. Cal is supposed to have a Spring Recital for his Dance Moves class through the Shoreline Parks & Recreation Department. I believe all of the dance classes will participate.

Okay. It's a piddly update but I'm happy that I wrote something here.
