Slow day today. Went out to run a few errands (got that damn glue for the fireplace door) and the roads were so much better. The warmer temperature and the drizzly rain are slowly melting all of this snow. If we're lucky this will be our one bout with snow this winter.

What's the point of the cold weather if we can't have snow to go with it? posted by Postmaster : 3:53 AM
I don't mind snow so much. I do mind snow and ice combined with steep hills...many steep hills. We had to shovel one such hill just so we could get our cars out to the main roads.
And...being new to this area it's lots of fun trying to figure out the flattest roads when going places.
Also Seattle was odd with their snow shoveling. Rather than shovel to the side of the road they thought it would be better to shovel to the middle. Mind you, Shoreline and the surrounding suburbs went with the standard shovel to the side...a much better tactic when dealing with snowy roads it turns out. posted by Tamara : 10:05 AM
