1. Whether you like it or not, do you take your job and work seriously? Why/why not?
Since my job currently is to make sure my family is kept in clean clothes and fed I'd say I do take my job and work seriously. Now I will admit I'm not as anal as I should be about keeping everything tidy.
2. What's your work ethic like?
Pretty good I think.
3. Have you ever been in a managerial position? If so, how is it/was it?
Only once. When I was in college I was promoted to assistant manager at a Little Caesar's. The extra money was nice although it was really a pittance. Assistant Manager wasn't too bad. I didn't have to deal with the District Manager, just my Manager and he was nice. Actually went through three Managers while I was an Assistant Manager. I quit when they fired the last guy because it was such bullshit. He was a good guy and worked hard. The District Manager and owners of the franchise were pricks.
After leaving New York for New Mexico I got a job at Domino's to help pay the bills. They wanted to move me into management as well but I nixed that. I wasn't looking to be there long term (and I wasn't) and I already knew what a shit job management at fast food was.
Bonus Question for Comments: If you could change one policy at your work, what would it be? Why? I would change the policy that mom is the one who picks up everything and puts it away. For example, it's disheartening to get the table and kitchen countertops cleared away only to have everyone pile crap right back on. I often give up.
