Catch Up
What's today? Wednesday? Yep. A very brief rundown of life at the Hodge Lodge. Sunday we went to see The Chronicles of Narnia. It was decent. Very like the book in that much happens very quickly with little explanation. The Narnia books are best enjoyed when you're a kid I think. Worth seeing though if you like movies of this type.
After the movie, a bunch of us went to Hideaway Pizza for dinner. We had to leave before everyone else to make it home for the Survivor finale. Danni ended up winning. Not my choice but she was an okay gal. She played an honest game but I really wanted Rafe or Steph to win. Once Danni won the immunity and was able to choose who would go to the final two with her I figured she'd get it. Especially when she picked Steph. She pissed off too many in the jury by voting them out.
Monday was an errand running day with mom. Duncan had TKD then we did our usual evening stuff. Nothing exciting really.
Tuesday I woke up feeling okay with some minor instestinal cramping. That intestinal cramping turned into diarrhea which pretty much cleaned me out in the course of an hour. After that, I felt like complete crap. No pun intended. I was wiped out and nauseous all day. Ended up not running to Target and Kohl's with mom and called Mike around lunch time to come home and watch Cal. I then proceeded to sleep for two hours. After that I felt a little better until a sinus headache started the queasiness all over again. Slept some more and felt much better.
Had a good night, no repeat of the intestinal cramping today. Still kinda wrung out though. We made it to Target and Kohl's. Bought a few more gifts for the kids and took care of our last minute Care Share kids.
Tonight Cal and I will go it alone. After Tae Kwon Do, Mike and Duncan are attending the junior high/high school Christmas party at the Unitarian church. They're doing dirty Santa gifts so I went through some of my manga trades. Since most of the kids are big anime and manga fans these should go over fairly well. The best thing about tonight is I don't have to cook dinner. Cal and I will just do leftovers and take it easy.
