The Home Stretch

After tomorrow there's only one more week of school. Well, four days really since we get Memorial Day (Monday) off. Duncan's last day will be Thursday but I'll have to go in Friday. No kids that day so it should be smooooth sailing. I believe we'll spend the day packing up and covering things for the Summer.

Tomorrow is Super Kids Day at the school. Basically every grade gets to have a fun time for several hours playing games. Some are done in pairs and some individually. The kids love it and the event usually brings out a lot of volunteers to help.

After our class is finished with their stint at Super Kids Day, we get to hustle them off to lunch and then pack them into the bus for our last movie field trip of the year. Madagascar opens tomorrow and we're going to the 12:45 showing. Mom and Cal are coming too but I bet he only watches about 30% of the movie.

On the plus side, if the movie is boring, I'll get a nice nap. I've napped through many a Coronado Special Ed. Movie Field Trip flick and this will probably be one more. Ah well. Naps are good.
