Blech
Martin Luther King holiday and Duncan is out of school? Am I? Nooooo. It's a "professional" day. Meaning a day the teachers will use for ongoing teacher training. Tracey is going to a seminar entitled Handwriting without Tears.
Where am I going? To a CPR/First Aid class. Yep, I've got to be certified for my job. Sucks. The previous assistant hadn't taken her class yet so I got handed her spot. I was really hoping I could get permission to stay in the classroom all day and clean. Open House is coming up soon and the room isn't ready for it.
Oh well. It's gonna be a looooong day.
