3x Thursday

1. When you encounter a crappy or traumatizing situation, how do you get over it and move past it?

I tell myself that I learned something so it wasn't a total loss. This way I can believe some good has come out of the bad.

2. Does getting over something (or moving past it, or both) sometimes require major change for you? Why/why not do you think that is?

Not really. I've learned you can't hold a grudge forever. You have to let things go or it can eat you up and mess with you even further. It's silly to let bad things keep controlling you.

3. What happens when you just can't seem to get over something? What do you do about it?

I give myself a good mental kick in the ass. Usually works.

Bonus Question for Comments: Do you believe you have to solve all of your problems yourself, or do you think it's okay to get help for them? Why/Why not?

I have a tendency to keep problems to myself and brood until I figure things out. I do think it's okay to get help but for some reason it's hard for me to do that.
