Time to Make Cookies

Duncan's party yesterday went off without a hitch. He invited eleven kids total and only two didn't show up. Not too shabby. Strangely enough, every girl he invited made it. For some reason my son is very popular with the girls. One even got really pissed off when it came time to come back to the table and sit for cake because another girl had taken her spot next to Duncan. Wonder if he'll still have this uncanny power once the majority of girls start foolishly pining for the bad boys. I never did understand that. Who wants the guy to be the high-maintenance once in the relationship after all?

Today is slated for making spritz cookies. I ran around so much yesterday I didn't get to make any. Then by the time we got home from the party I was pooped and didn't want to start baking. So I'll get several batches of spritz cookies done today because I've got to get my cookies for the teachers done. Then I figure all week after I get home from work (and TKD) I can bake. Sadly the folks who receive cookies far away probably won't get 'em before Christmas. I'm really behind this year. *sigh*

I'll worry about all the presents I still don't have bought later. It's easier to put it out of my mind for now rather than worry about it. One thing at a time and don't sweat it if you're late -- that's my motto for this Christmas.

Wish me luck on many cookies made today.
