Wow. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. My ordeal is almost over. Well, except for paying off the bills from this year's Christmas cheer. The new job should help with that though.
Today we'll travel to mom's to help her make our once-a-year cream cheese cookies. They're really good but kind of time-consuming to make mainly because of how thin you have to roll out the dough. I'll be official roller and mom will fill the cookies and (wo)man the ovens. Cal and Duncan will play and pester us.
I think we'll swing by Kohl's before heading that way to pick up one last gift for mom and something for Mike's grandmother. I gave her a whole bunch of photos of the kids, which is what she usually gets for Christmas. But I gave those to her early and I'm feeling like I need to have a little something wrapped for her. What that will be I have no freakin' clue.
It's Thursday and the new comics are in. I need to hit the comic store and pick up those. Light week for me but that's not surprising. With quite a few light weeks I'm actually catching up on my comics reading. I still have a ton of Superman issues to read but most of my other series I'm only a few issues behind. Keen.
Tonight's plans consist of wrapping presents and helping E finish up part two to her story "Thirteen" so it can be posted at the site soon. Here's part one of the story: www.e-scribblers.com/emy/e-thirteen.shtml. She did a helluva job on this one and part two is even better. I'm looking forward to seeing how everything turns out for these characters.
