Slug Woman Returns
I've really only been a slug about the blog. I've been productive at home. Been attempting to get things a little more organized for mom when she stays with the kids while we're in Reno.
So Monday and Tuesday I was a domestic goddess. Tuesday we also paid for the truck. It's been in the shop for a week. Cost us a little over a thousand bucks and the sad thing is there's still more on it that needs to be fixed. Stuff that would probably cost as much. Grrrrr.... Is it any wonder I spent most of Tuesday with a headache from gritting my teeth? I still can't think of the truck without doing that.
Wednesday I went in and volunteered in Tracey's class for the morning. Her assistant had to be out for half a day for mandatory training. Mandatory training that the district would not pay to have a sub for. I went in anyway. It was kinda nice. I didn't have to get there at 8:30 and I got to wear my jeans.
Cal stayed with my mom and was cranky kid all day. He's got a cold and didn't want to do anything as a result. Today he's a little better. Still has the cold but he's in a much better mood.
I got my room organized yesterday and ready for mom to use when she stays with the kids. Figured she'd appreciate a clear floor. I packed up my piles of comics into short boxes so she wouldn't be tripping over them. And it allowed me to shut my closet door. It was so organized in there I spent most of the evening in my room reading, watching the debate and enjoying the tidiness.
Today more domestic goddess duties ahead. I'm going to give the bathroom a good scrubbing. I may go get my comics around lunch time. No Tae Kwon Do today so that'll be nice. And it's Survivor tonight!
Okay. Off to shower and get my chores started. I've been enough of a slug this morning.
