3x Thursday on Saturday

1. Are you registered to vote? Why/why not? If you are registered, will you actually go vote this year?

Yes, I've been registered to vote since I was eighteen. I vote because it's stupid not to so yes, I'll vote this year.

2. Many people feel this particular election is very important this time around. Do you know why? Do you agree with it?

This election is important to me because I believe our current President is taking our country in a scary direction. Others would disagree, however, and say John Kerry would take our country in a scary direction.

3. Do you think that the citizens of this country actually have a say-so in what goes on, or do you think the government just wants us to think we do? We're going on 230 years of this particular form of running the government....does it work?

Citizens do have a say but they must vote. And not just vote in the big elections. Local politics are the most important and the area where you have the most influence with your vote. By and large I think our system is still working even if it's currently being corrupted by the influence of big corporations.

Bonus Question for Comments: If you could reform one aspect of our election system, what would it be?

Dump the electoral college.
