Missouri, Here He Comes
Tomorrow Duncan leaves for Branson with my mom. Actually both grandmas and a great grandma are going. And Tracey is in San Antonio until the end of the week so there goes our pool of free babysitting. Bummer.
But on the plus side, my house will be quieter. It won't be any less susceptible to messes because, let's face it, the Lord of Chaos is the biggest mess maker. But things will be less hectic without Tae Kwan Do and sibling tussles.
Today I'll be completing Duncan's packing. I'm taking all three kids over to mom's for the day so I can do it in peace and quiet.
Kelsey and Duncan will spend the night at mom's because they're getting up godawful early to head for Branson. I wonder if Cal is going to miss Duncan. I'm sure he'll ask where he is but after a few days will probably accept Duncan being gone as normal. Toddlers are so adaptable.
So with no free babysitting I guess Mike and I will use the week to relax and watch a few movies we can't easily watch while Duncan is around. No, not porn. R-rated fare mostly or boring (to Duncan) subtitled flicks. Should be fun.
