Yes!

The heat is back, baby! The forecast is for us to hit 88 today and with the humidity we've got going the heat index will be well over 90. I've got my air conditioner on and that pool isn't cold any more.

Not that I'm in the pool. Duncan and Ryan are swimming. I'm listening and keeping an eye on them from the computer room. Easy to do since the pool is just on the other side of the french doors leading to the backyard from the computer room.

We took Cal, Duncan and Ryan to see Home on the Range today at the dollar theater. We've learned we can't take Cal to the movies any more. He doesn't fall asleep like he did when he was younger. But I figured for a dollar I could risk missing most of the flick. And I got to see exactly thirty minutes of it before the Lord of Chaos had to go wandering.

We spent the rest of the time walking up and down Northpark Mall. Cal was fascinated by the two fountains they have there. I did have to discourage him from wading in them. And from drinking the water. But I figured sloshing his hands in the water was okay.

I also ended up buying some stuffed dolls in a little collectibles shop. Not that I really *needed* them but I found some cute sheep and a beanie baby dragon that I'd been wanting (not for the beanie baby part, for the dragon).

After the movie let out, mom dropped Duncan, Ryan and me at the house and she took Cal home with her. It's Tae Kwan Do day so I'll end up there eventually.

Tomorrow back to scraping paint! But at least I can jump in the pool to cool off....
