Geez, Has It Really Been Twenty Years?

Today is the big Twenty Year High School Reunion. Shock of shocks, Tracey is actually going to attend. Although I'm sure she's just putting on her happy face. But she's there and she can hate my guts for it later.

Went to Hideaway Pizza with Denise and new hubby, Jason, Tracey, Shelley and Jamie. Kids were in tow and mom came too but she didn't get to chat much thanks to Cal. We skipped the Reunion sponsored picnic because the one they did for Mike's reunion last year was lame. And it's more than a little hot and muggy in Oklahoma right now. Besides the only reason to go to that thing is to be able to say, "Yes, I've bred, here are my spawn."

Tonight is the casual get-together at the Bricktown Brewery. Kinda neat that they didn't get their act together to organize some horrid formal affair. I'm just as happy with this.

Below is a picture a friend of mine from high school drew for me upon graduating. She was a Junior and I met her in art class when I was a junior and she was a sophomore. We're still sort of in touch but sadly don't get together. Too bad because she was great fun in high school.

The cartoon on the left is of my friend Tammy Bothel (Lassiter). She died a few years back of cancer but she was also a good friend of Stephanie and into art, hence the drawing implements in her hand. The cartoon in the middle is of me. The shirt I'm wearing (Official Member F.F.A) I didn't actually own. And no, it's not for the Future Farmers of America. The caption over my head should clue you in on what the intials on the shirt stand for. The cartoon on the right is of Denise. She was fashionably "new wave" in high school. Notice her spiffy IRS Records shirt.

Good times. It should be fun reminiscing tonight.

The Terrible Trio.
