Update on the Amazing Incision Woman
Still moving slowly here in gb surgery recovery central. I feel loads better than I did yesterday. Not sure why yesterday was such a horrible day but I ended up sleeping during a lot of it.
Now I'm patiently waiting for my bowels to start working. The good news is they've finally started to kick in. The bad news is I'm kind of in the in-between stage, if you know what I mean. I hate that feeling. Makes me want to have some Star Trek science at my disposal so I can just teleport the matter out of my body. I think they did that with Keiko O'Brien's baby in a DS9 episode when they transported the fetus to Nierys. Of course, that wacky storyline was thought up because Nana Visitor was pregnant in real life and having her carry Keiko's baby was a good way to get around having the actor stand behind things while she was showing. Plus it gave the writers something fun to work with.
Hmmmm...think I've been taking too many pain meds? I'm babbling. Anyway, I'm still patiently waiting for my body to revert back to my 38 year old level of health. As I am now I feel more like I'm 95. I know I walk like I'm 95. It's kind of funny really watching me shuffle along holding my side. And with the daily wait for a bowel movement I end up resembling a 95 year old in more ways than one.
