Yes, I *Still* Love Getting Mail
Probably the last exciting mail for a while but today the SFBC order came in. It consisted of: Coraline by Neil Gaiman, Pattern Recognition by William Gibson, and a collected edition (the SFBC is fond of doing that) of three of Charlaine Harris' novels (Dead Until Dark, Living Dead in Dallas, and Club Dead.
The William Gibson book is for Mike because I'm not much of a fan of his work. Coraline we'll probably both read—me on my own and Mike because he'll read it to Duncan. The Charlaine Harris series was one I saw in a bookstore and they sounded pretty damn funny so I'm taking a chance that they're good. I like a good mystery and throw in southern vampires and you've got a winner as far as I'm concerned.
I still haven't been able to write about the Lucinda Williams concert but I have hopes I'll be able to get to it today possibly while Cal is napping or tonight when Mike is home so he can keep an eye on the little turd.
