Tamara's Flooby Web Log

Well, Cal is asleep and Duncan is watching cartoons. It's godawful hot outside right now. I think it's supposed to make it to 102 today according to Rick Mitchell at Channel 5. I'm looking forward to getting into the pool today, let me tell ya.

Mike finished building two more big honkin' shelves for our wonderful long closet. What are they for you ask? For my umpteen jillion short boxes full of comics. They're darn sturdy and he attached them to the studs in the wall so I don't think they'll be falling over and crushing anyone unless we have an earthquake. Oklahoma's not really known for those so I think we're safe.

So now that I've got those bee-yoo-ti-ful shelves I have no excuse not to start unpacking some of the boxes in the house. I unloaded the boxes full of our records this morning. Yes, we are old enough to own honest-to-god records. I even have quite a stack of 45s. Now I've just got to figure out what the heck I'm going to do with all of our RPG manuals. I think I might try to sell most of 'em. It's not like we ever have time to play and by the time Duncan or Calvin get old enough to maybe want to do role-playing games our editions will be waaay out of date.

Well, I really just put this meaningless drivel here so I'd have something in my blog for the day. I didn't post anything Sunday because I didn't do anything exciting. Mike worked on the shelves all day and I ironed. Fun!
